This custom component combines a sleeve feature with a mounting interface. Its suitability depends on the shaft fit, the way the plate attaches to the assembly and the relationship between those features. Send HKAA your drawing to define the geometry, material and inspection requirements for a quotation.
Specify the sleeve bore diameter, engagement length, surface roughness and required fit with the mating shaft. State whether the shaft is fixed in the sleeve or moves relative to it. Clearance, transition and interference fits serve different purposes; the intended fit must come from the assembly requirements rather than a photograph alone.
Include the mating shaft dimensions where needed to explain the connection. Identify any shoulder, retaining feature, clamping feature or thread shown in your design, and mark the surfaces that must remain free of coating.
For a separate flat mounting component, see our CNC machined mounting plates. This connector should be reviewed around both the sleeve fit and the mounting interface, rather than treated as a plate with an unrelated bore.
Identify the material grade and condition on the drawing. Material selection depends on loading, operating environment, wear conditions and the mating materials. When a surface treatment is required, specify the treatment and which dimensions must be met after finishing.
Cylindrical surfaces and plate features may require different machining operations. The setup plan should preserve the relationship between the bore, mounting face and hole pattern. Our CNC turning services and CNC milling services provide related manufacturing options, subject to drawing review.
Mark the critical bore dimensions, datum references and geometric tolerances. Specify any required inspection report and whether measurements apply before or after finishing. If performance depends on a mating shaft or an assembled condition, explain that condition with the RFQ so acceptance requirements can be agreed.
Use the inquiry form on this page to describe your component. Quoted dimensions, manufacturing scope and delivery requirements are confirmed for the individual project.
A photograph helps identify the general form but does not define the shaft fit, material or mounting tolerances. Supply a drawing or dimensional specification for a reliable manufacturing review.
The sleeve bore, its relationship to the mounting face and the locating hole pattern often control assembly. The designer should identify the actual functional requirements and datums.
State the required final condition explicitly, especially for close-fitting bores and threads. Include masking instructions where treatment must be excluded.
