Often referred to as Ball Lock pins, Kwik Release pins or Positive Locking Pins precison made to tight tolerances.

Double-Acting Ball Lock Pins are positive locking until released by either pushing or pulling the center spindle, which is connected to the handle. Pushing on the handle releases the balls and inserts the pin in one motion. Pulling on the handle releases the balls and removes the pin in one motion. Ball Lock Pins are high-strength, quick-release alignment pins with a precision ground shank and positive locking.

Often used with a wire rope lanyard assembeldd onto the handle ring to insure the pins remain affixed to the product they are being used on.

The pins or shanks of these quick release pins, similar to other Quick Release Pins within HKAA extensive range, are made from 17-4 PH stainless steel. This superior material choice excels in applications demanding heightened shear strength, surpassing the capabilities of conventional steel or stainless steel pins. The aluminium handle has a pre-attached key ring, enabling easy attachment of lanyards or retaining cables, conveniently available from HKAA.
